“After VallabhBhai Patel if there is one leader who can be known as the iron man in its truest sense, then he is Lal Krishna Advani. Advani is not only a serious and thoughtful person, but he also likes to meet people and share jokes. He has always treated his party as his family and worked for its prosperity. He never desired to come up alone and always took the whole party along with him. Since he was a pracharak of RSS he got the opportunity to travel and understand the diversities of our country. It was in Ayodhaya when he introduced himself to the public for the first time. He was a journalist turned politician who had the ability to face every situation with great seriousness and sincerity. Lal Krishna Advani was once blamed for the hawala scam, after which he decided to stay away from politics till he came out of it clean. First he served the country as Information and Broadcasting minister, then at the post of Home Minister and then as the Deputy Prime Minister. He never compromised anything against his country and always had an outspoken attitude. During his tenure many a times he had a difference in opinion with Vajpayee, but he never disrespected him. He has always supported and motivated a lot of people like me to grow and prosper. Loyalty and simplicity were the two things he led his life with. If there is one thing for him which is above the culture and the society its the country.”
